Events

The International Heyer Society hosted their first ever Georgette Heyer Convention. Originally intended to run in person, due to unforeseen circumstances it ran online only.

We were delighted to be able to curate a number of talks for them working closely with UCL Press, Folio Society and SourceBooks. Watch our session on YouTube.

All other content is still available to purchase and view. Visit https://heyersociety.com/heyercon-i-soiree-2021/ to find out more.

The Pink, Auld & Brown Book Club

The April edition of the book club (Weds 14 April) saw us welcome the wonderful writer, Laaleen Sukhera, who joins us to talk about her fictional debut AUSTENISTAN in which she co-wrote edited stories from fellow members of the Jane Austen Society of Pakistan.

Georgette Heyer: A Century Spent Having a Ball…

This event is now over and ticket sales have closed

As part of the Centenary Celebrations of the author Georgette Heyer we curated (in partnership with UCL Press) a series of celebratory events to highlight Heyer’s wonderful stories. With a loyal fan base from all around the world, including Stephen Fry and her Majesty the Queen herself, it was a wonderful celebration of her work for those that already love her, and a fantastic intro for those that don’t (yet)!

We are pleased to be delivering the first of what we hope will be a collection of Heyer related events throughout this centenary year. We hope that interest is sparked in the work of Georgette Heyer and that we reach new readers, opinions and audiences. Please! Don’t be shy – if you have an idea for another event or discussion, just email us at hello@pinkauldandbrown.co.uk
