In Conversation with Biographer Jennifer Kloester & Professor Kim Wilkins
Jennifer Kloester is the author of Georgette Heyer: The Biography of a Bestseller (2011), and Georgette Heyer’s Regency World (2005). This in-conversation will range across Heyer’s life and writing, telling some of the stories behind the stories we continue to love, 100 years after Heyer’s first publication.
Dr Jennifer Kloester is the acclaimed author of Georgette Heyer’s Regency World and Georgette Heyer: Biography of a Bestseller.
Inspired by Heyer’s witty and stylish novels, Jennifer has also written two Young Adult novels, and a novel for adults, Jane Austen’s Ghost, now available in digital and paperback.
She has lived in Papua New Guinea and the Middle East, but now lives in Melbourne, Australia.
When at home Jennifer can be found working on a new novel or pottering in her old-world garden (she loves growing things from seed). Her family is where her heart is and her family always comes first. They are her inspiration and source of greatest happiness. Books, reading and growing things come a close second.
